Are you heading to UKREiiF?

The real estate and built environment spotlight will firmly on Leeds in May, when the city plays host to UKREiiF, the UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum, taking place 17-19 May.

The three-day event, at Royal Armouries Leeds and Leeds Dock, promises to be a benchmark event, with Government bodies, more than 200 local authorities – including Leeds City Council, as well as hundreds of investors, agents, developers and occupiers attending.

More than 4,000 people are expected to attend, which is great news for Leeds, demonstrating once again that this vibrant city is a growing tour de force for business, a catalyst for change, and a significant contributor to the UK economy.

According to the Leeds Observatory, Leeds is now home to a greater proportion of people working in professional occupations compared to the wider Yorkshire and Humberside areas and England at 29.1%, 21.8% and 23.4% respectively.

The city has a growing number of businesses in the financial and professional services, healthcare and life sciences, as well as transformational creative and digital technology sectors making their home here, contributing to the economy that is worth more than £69 billion.

Now, welcoming UKREiiF is another coup for Leeds as it firmly cements its reputation as a place in which to do business. It will also enable this warm and welcoming city to shine a light on the reasons why so many organisations are heading here to set up either a northern headquarters or to relocate.

As a Grade A office building with BREEAM “Excellent” rating, 12 King Street prides itself on its sustainable and ESG credentials and it is heartening to see that UKREiiF’s key themes include UK’s net zero target, social value and inclusive growth, and building back better.

If you are attending UKREiiF and would like to visit 12 King Street to see how we have done things a little differently to ensure occupiers enjoy a first-class working environment, with superb working and communal facilities, head here for more details and to arrange a visit.
